Mrs. Gourvitz graduated from Fordham University in New York City where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A). She attended and graduated Seton Hall University Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate (JD).
Mrs. Gourvitz interned for Michael Diamond, J.S.C. (Ret.), the Presiding Judge of the Passaic County, Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part.
She previously handled all aspects of matrimonial law, including divorce, custody, domestic violence matters, and matrimonial appeals, and would handle real estate closing for existing clients. Now Melissa concentrates her practice on all aspects of real estate.
Melissa Gourvitz assists clients with all Residential and Commercial Real Estate, providing experienced legal guidance for individuals, families, investors, and business owners throughout New Jersey and New York.
She assists clients with a wide range of real estate matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating residential and commercial purchase agreements
- Residential and commercial real estate closings

- Purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties
- Coordination with lenders, title companies, and real estate professionals
