Melissa Gourvitz, Esq., Of Counsel to the firm, and is a native New Yorker. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and later moved with her family to Staten Island, New York where she grew up. She later moved to New York City and currently resides in Livingston, New Jersey.

Mrs. Gourvitz graduated from Fordham University in New York City where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A). She attended and graduated Seton Hall University Law School where she received her Juris Doctorate (JD).

Mrs. Gourvitz interned for Michael Diamond, J.S.C. (Ret.), the Presiding Judge of the Passaic County, Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part.

She previously handled all aspects of matrimonial law, including divorce, custody, domestic violence matters, and matrimonial appeals, and would handle real estate closing for existing clients. Now Melissa concentrates her practice on residential real estate transactions and closings.
